The rhythmic fluctuation of the CSF has a direct influence on the ultimate control system of the body, the central nervous system (CNS). Every cell in the body, including organs and the structures of the musculoskeletal, vascular, lymphatic, endocrine and respiratory systems, are connected to and controlled by the CNS. Any abnormalities in the craniosacral system can therefore have widespread effects, including sensory, motor and neurological issues. These could include chronic pain, learning difficulties, disrupted visceral (organ) function, motor-coordination impairments, headaches and migraines.
